GDM Group manufactures to order, to individual customer’s specifications, from a range of items held in stock and specially-made components. Customised fit-outs for individual clients and projects involving high input of design are a speciality but the factory is equally familiar with large production runs for clients with retail outlets in several locations.

The company’s 50 Wanganui-based staff design, prototype and install retail manufacturing systems, shelving units, apparel racks and point-of-purchase display units using state-of-the-art equipment. Many fit-outs use a combination of standard and customised fixtures. The result is cost-effective, high-quality yet flexible fixtures that allow clients to differentiate their in-store displays in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

GDM’s range of standard display and storage racks is called RAX, and is designed primarily for larger scale retail outlets. Competitively priced, it can be produced in large quantities. Other standard components include wall systems, gondolas, apparel racks, signage systems and point of sale display systems.
